Welcome to our FAQ page! We’re glad you’re here. Below, we’ve answered some of the most common questions to help you prepare for the event.

Accessibility

Our upcoming event is designed to be accessible to all patrons, however, we want to provide a full picture of the environment attendees can expect. Please be aware that as the event takes place outdoors, there may be uneven surfaces such as grass, gravel roadways, or sandy beaches that could present challenges for maneuvering. We are committed to accommodating all guests to the best of our ability and encourage those with specific accessibility needs to reach out to our team in advance.

We kindly ask attendees with accessibility requirements to indicate their needs, inclusive of mobile devices and service animals in the accessibility section when they register, so we can make appropriate arrangements to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone.

Additionally, the Factory Tour taking place at Roadtrek Inc. headquarters is fully accessible and AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) compliant, ensuring that all attendees can participate fully in this aspect of the event.

Are service animals permitted?
  • Guide Dogs and Service Animals are welcome at the Rally and on our Factory Tour. Service animals must be under the control of their owner at all times, remaining on-leash and next to their owner.

    An animal is considered a guide dog if,
  • The dog has completed an accredited training program in a facility listed in the Blind Persons’ Rights Act, Guide Dogs Regulation.

An animal is considered a guide dog if,

  • The animal can be readily identified as one that is being used by the person for reasons relating to the person’s disability, as a result of visual indicators such as a vest or harness worn by the animal; and
  • The person provides documentation from one of the following regulated health professionals confirming that the person requires the animal for reasons relating to the disability:
  • i. A member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • A member of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario
  • iii. A member of the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • iv. A member of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • v. A member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario
  • vi. A member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
  • vii. A member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • viii. A member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario
  • ix. A member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists and Registered Mental Health Therapists of Ontario
  • x. Or their out-of-province equivalent.
Are shuttles available?
  • Golf Cart shuttles running through the event grounds to the comfort stations, camping area, and main entertainment area are available to those with limited mobility; they are not wheelchair accessible.
  • Bus shuttles to the factory tour are not wheelchair accessible. We ask that those requiring mobile assistive devices travel with their RV to the factory tour at their registered tour time.
  • You are welcome to exit and re-enter the Rally “Island” inclusive of the main entertainment area and/or campgrounds using your RV as much as you’d like. You will need to present your badge each time you leave and enter.
Are accessible restrooms available?
  • We will have ADA portable washroom comfort trailers located in the camping and event area on the rally grounds. Additional ADA washrooms are available in comfort stations in Guelph Lake Conservation Area, the closest is located just outside of the Rally grounds before you cross to enter the island. You may drive your RV and leave the Rally grounds to visit the comfort stations.
  • The factory tour at Roadtrek Inc. Headquarters has ADA washrooms which will be available during the tour.
What is your support person’s policy?

Support persons must also purchase a rally ticket, however we understand that the support personnel may be different each day. When you register please indicate your support personnel in the accessibility section. Further assistance can be found during the Rally at the main information booth.

What is your Scooter Policy?

Only 3 and 4-wheeled scooters and wheelchairs are permitted. Golf carts and 2 wheel scooters are not allowed on the event grounds. Only those with accessible needs and mobility limitations are permitted to operate a mobility device. No scooters or wheelchairs (manual or motorized) will be available to rent onsite. Motorized vehicles must be operated in safely and courteously and cannot move faster than the walking speed of the pedestrians around. Any devices found to be operating improperly will be impounded by security for the duration of the event. Insurance and valid documentation are required in advance and upon request of presentation onsite.

Factory Tour

Is the factory tour accessible?
  • The Factory Tour taking place at Roadtrek Inc.'s headquarters is fully accessible and AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) compliant, ensuring that all attendees can participate fully in this aspect of the event.
What do I do with my pet while on the tour?
  • Pets are not permitted during the Factory Tour (service animals excluded). You will need to make alternative arrangements for your pet while you are on the Tour. We recommend signing up for different tour times with your travel group. Or make friends with your camp neighbours or other pet owners and taking turns enjoying the tour.
  • Guide Dogs and Service Animals are welcome on our factory tour. Please refer to the accessibility section for requirements. Please note that the factory will be in full operation during the tour, this includes loud machinery that can be uncomfortable for pets.
When is my tour time?
  • When you register upon your arrival at the Rally there will be a sign-up sheet to select your time slot for the tour. 
How do we get to the factory tour?
  • We have arranged for shuttle buses to take ticket holders to the factory tour located in Cambridge. It is important that you meet at the bus shuttle pickup on time for the departure of your tour. If you miss the departure for your selected tour time you will not be granted a different tour time and refunds will not be provided.
  • Bus shuttles to the factory tour are not wheelchair accessible. We ask that those requiring mobile assistive devices travel with their RV to the factory tour at their registered tour time.
Required Apparel?

It is important to note that the factory tour will take place while our factory is in full production. Due to safety regulations, specific precautions must be observed. All participants of the tour are required to wear closed-toe, flat shoes. Sandals or high-heeled shoes will not be permitted on the factory floor. If you arrive at the tour with inappropriate footwear, you will not be allowed to participate, and refunds will not be issued. Safety glasses will also be provided for attendees to wear throughout the tour.

Photo/Video?

During the factory tour, photography and videography are strictly prohibited. Our tour showcases proprietary practices and equipment that are integral to our operations, and as such, capturing images or videos, including content shot on personal devices and cell phones, is not permitted. Any individual found with a camera or phone taking images will be promptly escorted out of the tour, and refunds will not be provided. The exception to this rule applies to pre-registered media personnel affiliated with Roadtrek Inc., who must display a valid 'Media' badge during the tour

Camping

What time can I arrive?

The rally will open at 2PM EST on Tuesday, August 13th. Campers must depart by 10AM EST on Thursday, August 15th.

Can I arrive early or stay longer?

Yes, if you would like to arrive early you may make a reservation directly with Guelph Lake Conservation Area for date before and after our Rally event.

How are campsites assigned? Can I camp next to my friends?
  • All campsites are assigned upon arrival on a first-come, first-camped basis. You may not save spots for your friends. If you wish to camp beside another group, you MUST arrive together. There is one campsite per group/vehicle.
  • The rally reserves the right to relocate campers to a substituted site, or area, if necessary. Please note that maps only provide an approximate location of campsites.
Can I have an additional vehicle on my campsite?

No. Each campsite permits space for 1 Roadtrek camper van only.

Can I have a tent on my campsite?

No tents are not permitted on campsites. Small shelters are permitted within the space restrictions of your designated camping area.

How many people does the campsite hold?

Each campsite permits space for 1 Roadtrek camper van, and a maximum of 4 people only.

Is there hydro or water service at my campsite?

No, serviced sites are not available. Generators are permitted in the camping area, with a maximum fuel capacity of 5 gallons. Restricted operating hours will be in place, and generators are not to be run between the hours of 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. We will have an emergency charge station for those whose RV require an electrical top up as needed.

Can I dump waste water, and top up fresh water?

Yes upon entry to Guelph Lake Conservation area you will have the opportunity to dump any waste water, and top up fresh water before entry to the Rally grounds.

If I do not want to dry camp, can I just make a separate reservation at Guelph Lake Conservation Area and still participate in the Rally?

No. Only ticket holders who purchase tickets through our website rally.roadtrek.com will be allowed access to the Rally grounds which includes a space for dry camping.

Are there washrooms?

General Festival Rules

Camping Area:
  • No exit/re-entry for RVs parked on camping spaces. If you leave Guelph Lake
    Conservation Area with your vehicle, you will not be allowed to re-enter. The
    exception to this rule is for attendees who require mobile assistive devices such as wheelchairs for the factory tour. RV’s can leave the camping area “Island” to visit comfort stations or to enjoy the rest of Guelph Lake Conservation Area.
  • We ask you to keep the peace and quiet after 9:30 PM as not to disrupt nearby campers.
  • Bicycles are permitted in the rally grounds, camping areas, and Guelph Lake Conservation Area.
  • All campers are expected to be courteous to those around them.
  • All campers are required to purchase event tickets.
  • A maximum of 4 persons is allowed per standard site.
  • All vehicles and persons will be subject to search upon entering the grounds and
    prohibited items must be removed or surrendered.
  • Motorcycles and golf carts are not permitted in the camping area. We will have golf
    cart shuttles available.
  • All campground occupants must wear their event badge at all times.
  • Alcohol is not permitted in any public areas.
  • No glass containers of any kind.
  • No drugs or drug paraphernalia.
  • Any item that can be used as a weapon is strictly prohibited.
  • No open flame, with the exception being small cooking appliances – propane only.
    We will have communal campfire locations set up in the camping area.
  • No fireworks, paper (floating) lanterns, incendiary devices, or any type of explosive.
  • Generators are permitted in the camping area, with a maximum of 5 gallons of fuel.
    Restricted hours of operation will be in place, not to be running between the hours of 8 pm and 8 am.
  • No amplified sound systems.
  • No drones or remote-operated, and/or autonomous vehicles of any kind.
  • No tiki torches or excessive amounts of fuel.
  • Any items that can be used as a means to disturb the peace, endanger the safety of the crowd, and/or inflict damage to people and goods.
  • Cooking appliances are to be used under the following conditions:

    - Must use propane as the primary fuel. The Ppropane container must not exceed 1 pound. Max of three (3) 1- pound containers per campsite.
    - Only one (1) cooking appliance per campsite.
    - One meter (1m) of clearance must be kept around the appliance at all times.
    - Appliances may only be used from 7AM-8PM.
Prohibited Items:
  • No drugs and/or drug paraphernalia of any kind.
  • No weapons of any kind and/or items that can be used as weapons, including wallet chains or spikes.
  • No glass of any kind.
  • No floating lanterns.
  • No megaphones or air -horns.
  • No focus light beam devices, including laser pointers.
  • No balloons,
  • No fireworks, sparklers, and/or firecrackers.
  • No gang clothing and/or gang support shirts.
  • No aerosol cans of any kind.
  • No flyers/stickers/posters.
  • No drones.
  • No professional quality camera equipment (no detachable lenses, tripods, video cameras, etc).
  • No professional video or audio recording equipment of any kind.
  • No water guns, water balloons, and/or any other kind of water projectile
Prohibited Activity:
  • Any person found to be in possession of a weapon will be subject to a criminal investigation and immediately evicted from the event without a refund.
  • Any person(s) found fighting or threatening other rally attendees or Rally staff will immediately be evicted from the event without a refund.
  • Persons will not be allowed to enter the grounds or main entertainment area if they are intoxicated.
  • Any persons found promoting, selling, or vending items of any kind will be evicted from the event without refund.
  • No operating anything remotely controlled, including drones.
  • No open fires or flames.
Additional Rules & Regulations:
  • All sales are final.
  • No refunds or exchanges.
  • The Rally is rain or shine.
  • Performers and activities are subject to change without notice.
  • Roadtrek Inc. And Grand River Conservation Authority are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged material, property, or vehicles. It is recommended that you do not bring valuable items.
  • Sponsorship-branded or wrapped vehicles are prohibited and will not be allowed entry.
  • No public indecency or defecation anywhere on the event grounds.
  • No Confederate flags.
  • Programming is subject to change without notice.
Re-Entry Policy:
  • Main Entertainment Area/Campgrounds:
    - You are welcome to exit and - re-enter the Rally “Island” - inclusive of the main entertainment area and/or campgrounds as much as you’d like. You will need to present your badge each time you leave and enter.

  • Camping (Vehicles):
    - To limit the frequency of RV’sRVs on roadways in the grounds once an RV has entered the venue of Guelph Lake Conservation Area, it is not allowed to leave the park. The exception to this rule is for attendees who require mobile assistive devices such as wheelchairs for the factory tour. RV’s can leave the camping area “Island” to visit comfort stations or to enjoy the rest of Guelph Lake Conservation Area.
Where can I find the full Rally Terms of Service and Waiver?

You can find a copy of full Rally Terms of Service and Waiver at this link. All participants are required to sign off that they are aware of, fully understand, and irrevocably and unconditionally agree to these Terms and Conditions (including the waivers of liability). 

General Questions:

Are there shuttle services?

Only Roadtrek owners with a Roadtrek RV will be granted entry to the Rally grounds. We will have a shuttle service to transport attendees to the Factory Tour

Is there a Rally map?

Yes you can view this on the website here, maps will also be distributed at the event.

Is the Rally all-ages?

No, attendees must be over the age of 19 to attend. Photo identification and age verification will be required at registration.

Are there ATMs?

No. Certain vendors in our vendor ally may only accept cash in Canadian funds. Roadtrek Merchandise will accept electronic payment methods.

Is there a lost & found?

The lost and found will be located at the Info Booths outside the camping area. If you happen to find a lost item please take it to lost and found. Please note we are not responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Are there medical/ emergency services available on-site?

Yes. The safety and wellbeing of our community is our top priority. Medical, Security and Emergency Services staff are on-site throughout the entire event. If you require attention, please go to the medical tent or ask security or staff for the nearest location.

Are pets and service animals allowed?
  • Yes! We love furry friends. Pets must be accompanied by and under the control of their owner at all times. Always keep pets on a leash no longer than 2 metres (6 feet) in length. Do not allow pets to damage or disturb park vegetation and wildlife. Do not leave pets unattended or allow them to make excessive noise. Pick up after your pet’s waste. Pets are not permitted in comfort stations. Please adhere to any postings at the Guelph Lake conservation area regarding pets on beaches, walking trails etc. Pets are not permitted during the Factory Tour (service animals excluded). You will need to make alternative arrangements for your pet while you are on the Tour. We recommend signing up for different tour times with your travel group. Or Make friends with your camp neighbours or other pet owners and take turns enjoying the tour. Pet’s are not to be left unattended in vehicles.  If your pet disturbs the enjoyment of the Rally for others you may be asked to leave without a refund of your ticket.

Rally Tickets/Badges:

When will I receive my Rally ticket/Badge?

Your confirmation email will be sent directly to your email upon registration. You will receive your Rally Badge when you arrive and check-in at the event. Please bring a photo ID for all attendees and your order confirmation email to check in. Everyone is required to wear their badge for the duration of the festival. No persons will be allowed to enter any portion of the grounds (parking, camping, entertainment, factory tour etc.) without a rally badge. This policy will be strictly enforced – trespassers will be evicted.

Third-Party Sales

DO NOT purchase tickets from 3rd party sites - only purchases through the official Roadtrek Rally ticketing website www.rally.roadtrek.com. Counterfeit tickets will not be honoured and Roadtrek Inc. will not be responsible for the promotion or sale of counterfeit tickets.

What is the refund policy?

All Roadtrek Rally ticket purchases are final sales, with no refunds or exchanges. The rally takes place rain or shine.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else’s name?

No, once you are registered the information cannot be changed.
